Spearmint have returned ahead of a one-off London show at Hoxton Colours with their newest single, ‘The Most Famous Secret Agent In The World’. Their sound is as evergreen as it ever was, with the jangly indie-pop sound they’re known for being pushed forward by cinematic arrangements, thick, all-absorbing textures, and of course, fantastic top-lines. The track is “inspired by John Gavin, who was signed to become the new James Bond in the 70s, but ended up as an understudy, never getting to play the role on screen.
